Alert

Library Closed Monday, Feb. 15

All locations of The Seattle Public Library and the book drops at the Central Library will be closed on Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 15.

Possible service interruption in online Library services Feb. 13 - 14

The Library will be performing maintenance on our network. While we are not expecting service interruptions during this period, there might be brief interruptions in online services. You will be able to search the Bibliocommons catalog, but may not be able to log in, place holds, renew items or use other catalog features. The former Library catalog (Horizon Information Portal) may experience outages as well. SPL Mobile, access to e-books, free music downloads and many databases and applications also may be affected.

Meeting & Study Rooms at the Greenwood Branch

Planning a meeting or need a study room? We can accommodate groups large and small at most Library locations.

The Greenwood Branch has:

  • A meeting room that can accommodate up to 64 people
  • Two study rooms and a small conference room

The meeting room is wheelchair-accessible. Branch staff can help you determine whether the room can comfortably accommodate your group.

The Greenwood Branch has two study rooms that provide space for tutoring and other uses; a small conference room that can host some meetings; and a quiet room that provides an alternative to the activity of the main reading room. Use of these rooms is free. The study rooms and conference room are scheduled on a first come, first served basis and are available for same day reservations. Call the branch for more information.
