School groups are always welcome at the Library. If you plan to bring a middle school or high school group to the library, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can give you the best possible service.
See Children's School Tours of the Central Library for more information on bringing an elementary school group to the Library.
Here are a few things to know when bringing a school group to any Library location:
- With valid photo I.D. or a Library card application signed by a parent, students can receive new or replacement Library cards during their visit. Please let us know in advance if you would like your students to receive Library cards.
- Teens can use the Library's computers but cannot check out materials if they have over $15 in fines. Teens may talk to a librarian if large fines are stopping them from checking out materials.
- There is no eating in the Library. Your group may need to make plans for lunch.
