American Sign Language Interpreters
LEAP staff provides services in American Sign Language.
Arrangements can be made (with two weeks notice) for sign-language interpreters for Library-sponsored classes, tours, events and programs. Schedule an interpreter through the LEAP coordinator: email email@example.com or call 206-615-1380 (v/tty) or use Sprint Relay Online.
Closed-Caption Programs on DVD or Video (VCR)
Many of the Library's DVDs and videos (VCR format) are available with closed captions - captions appearing on the screen that transcribe the dialogue and relevant background sounds into text.

Receive Notices by Telephone or Email
The Library can notify you by telephone or email when materials are overdue or items on hold are available for pick-up. TeleCirc, our telephone notification system, does not work with TTYs. To arrange to receive notices, contact your branch library or Borrower Services at 206-386-4190 or email Ask a Librarian.
