Library Closed Monday, Feb. 15

All locations of The Seattle Public Library and the book drops at the Central Library will be closed on Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 15.

 

Possible service interruption in online Library services Feb. 13 - 14

The Library will be performing maintenance on our network. While we are not expecting service interruptions during this period, there might be brief interruptions in online services. You will be able to search the Bibliocommons catalog, but may not be able to log in, place holds, renew items or use other catalog features. The former Library catalog (Horizon Information Portal) may experience outages as well. SPL Mobile, access to e-books, free music downloads and many databases and applications also may be affected.

Adele Griffin, Robin Wasserman, Sarah Mlynowski and E. Lockhart read from works Feb. 27 at The Seattle Public Library

Authors Adele Griffin, Robin Wasserman, Sarah Mlynowski and E. Lockhart will read from their latest works for young adults from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at The Seattle Public Library, Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 3, Norcliffe Foundation Living Room.

 

The program is free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Parking is available in the Central Library garage for $5 after 5 p.m.

 

The authors will read from their new books and give a preview of some upcoming books, including: "Loud Awake and Lost" by Adele Griffin, "We Were Liars" by E. Lockhart, "Don't Even Think About It" by Sarah Mlynowski and "The Waking Dark" by Robin Wasserman.

 

This event is presented in partnership with Secret Garden Books. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
