Some patrons report seeing incorrect ebook holds and checkouts. Please log out and back in to clear. If you are consistently seeing incorrect ebook entries please report to Ask a Librarian. We are working with OverDrive to resolve this issue.

The Seattle Public Library hosts Watershed Science workshops for kids beginning in March

Watershed Science workshops

The Seattle Public Library is hosting Watershed Science workshops for kids from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays, March 13 through April 24 at the Magnolia Branch, 2801 34th Ave. W.


Library events and programs are free and open to the public. Registration is required; call 206-386-4225 to register.


Kids in Kindergarten through second grade are invited participate in fun activities and learn about the water cycle, watersheds and how to protect our oceans.


The workshops will be taught by an instructor from the Environmental Science Center. The Environmental Science Center is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting environmental stewardship and academic achievement through science-based education.
