The Seattle Public Library hosts Taiwanese cooking workshop Sept. 6
The Seattle Public Library will host a workshop on Taiwanese cuisine and culture from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 4, Washington Mutual Foundation Meeting Room 1.
Library programs and events are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. The workshop will be presented in both Mandarin Chinese and English. Parking is available in the Central Library garage at the regular rates.
The workshop will include a fruit and vegetable carving demonstration by Kai-Tun Hsu and Shih-Yu Lin, two award-winning chefs from Hungkuang University in Taiwan.
This program is presented in partnership with the Culture Center of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Seattle.
