Patricia Tanumihardja will discuss "The Asian Grandmothers Cookbook: Home Cooking from Asian American Kitchens" from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 at The Seattle Public Library, Columbia Branch, 4721 Rainier Ave. S.
The program is free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Free parking is available at the branch.
"The Asian Grandmothers Cookbook: Home Cooking from Asian American Kitchens" includes recipes from over a dozen Asian cultures, many never seen in print before.
Tanumihardja was born in Indonesia and raised in Singapore. She writes about food, travel and lifestyles through a multicultural lens. Tanumihardja has been published in numerous national and regional publications. She lives in Northgate.
