Medieval Women's Choir

The Medieval Women's Choir will perform a preview of their upcoming concert from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 7 at The Seattle Public Library, Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 1, Microsoft Auditorium.

The program is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Parking is available in the Central Library garage at the regular rates.

Led by artistic director Margriet Tindemans, the choir will perform selections from their upcoming concert, "Music of the Spheres," a tribute to the 12th century German visionary St. Hildegard of Bingen.

Formed in 1990, the Medieval Women's Choir studies and performs medieval music. It presents three concerts a year at different venues, including churches, synagogues and performance halls. Choir members have also performed at homeless shelters, schools, libraries and Seattle City Hall.
