The Seattle Public Library hosts 'Learn to Speak Dog' workshop Nov. 9
The Seattle Public Library will host "Learn to Speak Dog: Beyond Sit and Stay," a workshop for dog owners and those thinking about getting a dog, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Fremont Branch, 731 N. 35th St.
Library programs and events are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Street parking is available at the branch.
Dog trainer Brett Shelby will share tips and answer questions about dog ownership. He will be accompanied by Danny, a shepherd/Rottweiler mix. Shelby grew up in a dog training family and began working with dogs at an early age. He brings his experience teaching dogs to his work, and helps people learn how to communicate effective with their dogs.
