The Seattle Public Library hosts performances by the Ladies Musical Club in January

Ladies Musical Club

The Seattle Public Library will host musical performances by the Ladies Musical Club from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 1, Microsoft Auditorium, and from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12 at the West Seattle Branch, 2306 42nd Ave. S.W.


Library programs are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Free parking is available near the West Seattle Branch. Parking is available in the Central Library garage at the regular rates.


The Jan. 8 performance will feature piano music by Chopin and Gershwin and vocal arrangements by a variety of composers. The Jan. 12 performance will feature music by Strauss, Debussy, Chopin and more.


The Ladies Musical Club is a corporation of women with the mission to foster classical music in the community through education, performance and awards.
