The Seattle Public Library hosts screening of 'Dancing About Architecture' film Sept. 12

"Dancing About Architecture"

Cinematographer Matthew Witschonke presents a screening of "Dancing About Architecture," a short film about the modern dance piece that explores the Central Library's architectural space, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 at The Seattle Public Library, Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 1, Microsoft Auditorium.

 

Library programs and events are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Parking is available in the Central Library garage for $5 after 5 p.m.

 

The film will include footage from Sapience Dance Collective's June 2013 performances at the Central Library. A Q&A session with the dancers and the cinematographer will take place following the film.
