Clare Vanderpool reads from 'Navigating Early' Jan. 26 at The Seattle Public Library

Newbery Medal recipient Clare Vanderpool will read from her new children's book, "Navigating Early," from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at The Seattle Public Library, Northgate Branch, 10548 Fifth Ave N.E.
The program is free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Free parking is available at the branch.
"Navigating Early" is a story of two boys' epic quest on the Appalachian Trail where they deal with pirates, buried secrets and extraordinary encounters.
Vanderpool received the 2011 Newbery Medal for her debut novel "Moon Over Manifest." She lives in Kansas.
This event is presented in partnership with University Book Store. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
