Brian McCarty discusses 'War-Toys: Israel, West Bank, Gaza Strip' Dec. 5 at The Seattle Public Library

“War-Toys: Israel, West Bank, Gaza Strip”

Artist Brian McCarty will discuss and share images from "War-Toys: Israel, West Bank, Gaza Strip" from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 at The Seattle Public Library, Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 1, Microsoft Auditorium.


Library events are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Parking is available in the Central Library garage for $5 after 5 p.m.


"War-Toys" is a photo essay that explores the perspectives of children living in war zones, featuring children's drawings alongside the photographs they inspired.


McCarty is an internationally-exhibited artist and toy industry veteran based in West Hollywood, Calif.


This event is supported by The Seattle Public Library Foundation, author series sponsor Gary Kunis, and media sponsor The Seattle Times. It is presented in partnership with The Elliott Bay Book Co. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
